Screening Fences

Fences are often used to foreclose larger areas where dangerous motions or other risks may occur. The fence can be made from steel or aluminum with different materials in the sections. The most common is net but also clear or colored polycarbonate can be used.

If one would want sound dampening there are also sections available for that cause. The most usual heights are 1400 and 2000 mm but it is possible to get almost any heights necessary to make a safe shielding.

Stroke length adjustment hood

The hood fills two functions. First, to protect the operator from harm caused by the adjustment tool and second to constitute a prolapse protection on presses with the eccentric axle in a forward-backward direction.

On presses with this axle direction, an axle rupture can implicate severe risks for the operator if the shaft would hit him or her on the head. The hood catches the shaft and protects the operator from harm. When adjusting the stroke length or moving the press by hand the hood protects the operator by disconnecting the engine when the hood is opened.

An openable hood should is always to be electrically interlocked and wired with a safe setting in the control cabinet of the press.

Protection around the tool room

At automatic operation, a protection around the entire tool room is necessary. It is not enough to use protected tools or closed tools, because the fed material also poses a potential threat. Such protection should be electrically sealed, while the front protection is open settings are the only action possible.

With open protection the machine must fulfill the requirements for safe settings function. Protection is also a must when using a press that is approved for open tools.

Utilizing two-hand operations in combination with feeding equipment may not occur.

Other mechanical protection

We offer a large amount of customized protection for different purposes. Different enclosures which sound proof especially noisy machines or supplementing existing protection. The rear of shears and press brakes is an area that are ordained by law to be enclosed with a fixed or a contact free protection. Such areas should also have a reset function.

We also build protection to other machines such as presses and shears. The material we use are aluminum profiles or steel pipes along with polycarbonate, sound absorbers or nets in different performances.
