Safety techniques and maintenance

This is an advanced class for you who work with maintenance and repairs. We teach in a more detailed manner how the presses are built, which faults are usual and how they can be corrected. To fully benefit from this education it is required that one can read a simple electrical schematic, because it is often in the safety system where faults happen. The participants also learn which rules and regulations apply at repairs to upkeep the safety. 

Introduction to working in an eccentric press

This crash course aims at giving the participants a first glimpse of how a press work and are to be handled.

The course is a suitable introduction for new employees hired to work in eccentric presses.

From the course content: How does an eccentric press function? What should you think of when operating one? Daily and weekly maintenance. 

Using a light curtain when working in a press brake

This course is designed to teach a how to use a light curtain properly when working in press brakes. It is very common that the light curtain remains unused or used in a faulty fashion because of lack of knowledge. The risk for injuries severely increased if a press brake are operated solely with a foot switch, this way of operation is restricted according to AFS 1999:8.

Toolset in an eccentric press

This education are meant for people who mount tools in presses on a daily basis. Here, we offer many tips about how to work as efficient and safe as possible when mounting tools. We also teach what rules and regulations apply to different types of tools and in what categories of presses these are allowed for operation.
